EQUIP YOUR LIFESTYLE
LIFESTYLE TRAINING SCHOOL .org
Dear Student,
For many people today, one sermon a week is not enough – you want more of God’s Word in a relevant, accessible package. The pressure on us in today’s society gives us very little time to enrol in a full time College. You can now relax! Faithworks Itinerant Ministries takes great pleasure in offering you a proven, quality, part-time, accredited course that is a ‘Nationally Recognised Training programme 6330'. This course is accredited through Unity College Australia. If studying one night a week or if external studies interests you then I would highly recommend that you take the time to read through all the information in this student pack.
We have developed this course with the following features:
- All notes supplied to students - via your local campus or by email
- Session CD’s are available for purchase
- Some lessons are available on video
The Lifestyle Training School program can be run one night a week in your own church or it can be made to fit your own study program. This has also been used in Home group studies, the program is taught by Teachers and Pastors who have a passion for the subject that they teach.
Following is our information pack for your viewing, - there is an application form, ‘the Accredited Student Handbook’ (the ‘Statement of Agreement’ form needs to be signed and handed in or emailed with your application form), student fees and the course outlines. The course outline explains what you can expect from each module and everything that you are required to do to fulfil the requirements as an accredited student. If you wish you can even do this course non-accredited.

INDEX
This course has been designed to show you how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. This will enhance the effectiveness of the call of God on your life, for successful Christian living in today’s ever-challenging world. We are going to look at the Word of God and learn how to apply it to our lives to make a significant impact on the world by walking in a greater understanding of our calling. We are going to draw crucial life applications from the lives of the champions in God’s Word. We all stand to learn immeasurably from these courses. “It takes more than desire to fulfil the will of God. It takes spiritual strength”.
We will equip you with the tools to minister to Christians, non-Christians and even nominal Christians the truths of the word of God. We can not share the faith of God the same way to everyone.
VISION STATEMENT:
To run courses that cause the church to realise who God is in His fullness, who we are through the work of Christ and what we have been called to do with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Equipping us with the skills to be fruitful Christians grounded in the faith, finding our place in the Church.
MISSION STATEMENT:
1) To develop and mature Christians as effective leaders in the Church today, and
2) To equip people to lead people to Christ and build them into a worshipping community.
STRATEGY:
Though we do not aim to actually take non-Christians through the salvation process, we do aim to bring Christians into a closer relationship with God through a deeper understanding of their righteousness and position in Christ through the Lifestyle Training School program.
To develop CHRISTIAN MATURITY:
We do this through the following ways:
Training them:
- in the use of God’s word
- how to effectively pray
- how to effectively evangelise
- how to use their gifts and talents for God
Teaching them:
TO BUILD THEM INTO A WORSHIPPING COMMUNITY:
We do this by:
Identifying and teaching you about your spiritual gifts and how to effectively evangelise by promoting the worship service and by implementing weekly strategies to promote evangelism.
This training school is unique in many aspects; it is made up of a Certificate III and Certificate IV program that can run simultaneously together;
1. The Certificate III in Christian Ministry is made up of eight modules and the Certificate IV in Christian Ministry is made up of sixteen modules, you can choose any topics from this list of seventeen modules;
2. We also have a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry focusing on Leadership and Facilitation of small groups, which is a one year intensive program that can run in conjunction with the Certificate III, the things we cover;

All students are expected to become involved in an area of service in their local church during their training period.
2. CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
Every student should desire to develop their life according to the Word of God and particularly the biblical teaching of moral standards.
This would include a desire to develop the fruit of the Spirit and a consistent life of prayer, study and regular church attendance.
A desire to serve the Lord and to follow Him is normal for those calling Jesus, Lord and should be evident in all areas of their life both outside and inside of Lifestyle Training School studies.
COLLEGE:
3. CHAPEL
Chapel, comprising of Praise and Worship is an essential part of the Lifestyle Training School program with students able to participate in the Music and Ministry during Chapel services.
Student’s late and absent from Chapel will be treated with the view that they are not really interested in God and their own personal development. (Not applicable to external students, as an external student it would be good to put on a CD and sing along to two or three songs before studying - helps to calm the mind, and sets a good atmosphere to study.)
4. CLASSROOM STANDARDS
The following class rules have been adopted to facilitate the smooth running of the classes and to train the students in courtesy and consideration of others and the facilities provided.
The following rules, and any others that may be announced during the School year, are to be observed at all times.

6. TAKING NOTES
It is essential that you take notes during each lecture and spend time reviewing the notes and scriptures.
7. PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism is using someone else’s material without adequate acknowledgment, thereby attempting to pass it off as your own work.
Plagiarism applies to any printed material, including the work of other students. If you try to present another student’s work as your own work with their permission, this is called COLLUSION.
Plagiarism is dishonest and is theft of another person’s ideas and this will not be tolerated at Lifestyle Training School.
Students found guilty of Plagiarism will automatically fail the unit concerned.
A subsequent offence will incur expulsion for the Lifestyle Training School.
Avoiding Plagiarism is simple use of adequate referencing.
8. LATE FOR CLASS
Students are expected to be seated in the classroom a few minutes before the commencement of each class.
Students who arrive 15 minutes late to class must purchase a CD.
9. ASSESSMENT EXTENSIONS
Assessment Extensions may be requested from the program Co-ordinator but not less than 3 days before the due date or you will incur a 10% penalty.
Assessment Extensions will only be approved in Extreme circumstances.
10. LATE ASSESSMENT
Extensions - Students handing in assessments after the due date must have a signed extension on your cover sheet. You will also incur an instant loss of 5%.
Without Extensions - Penalty for all overdue assessments with no signed extension will incur the following loss of points:
10% for the first week late and
5% for each day after the first week
* No marks will be given for assessments handed in after the 14th day, all assessments have to be attempted and handed in to be able to complete the module.
PLEASE NOTE: Hard copies of all assessments are to be kept by the students.
External students need to mail or email their assessments as per their schedule.
Eg. When you have completed CD one and before CD two the assessment needs to be completed and mailed or emailed clcik here.
